Happy birthday to Susie and ZZ! Su Lin was my first ever "panna daughter" and will always hold a special place in my heart. Good to see both girls are enjoying their celebrations! Debora, thanks for the reminder on Ya Ya. I have been to Memphis Zoo 3 times and she is really a wonderful lady bear, with a funny beau in Le Le. Hoping they can have a cubbie soon!

Happy B-day to you Zhennie and sister Su! I have to say that Zhennie brought her cake down faster than Su, she is just more inquisitive, I guess...or hungry for panda treats! Did you see her climb on top, for a moment there, she was the panda topper on her own cake! then she couldn't figure out how to get down...priceless! Got some great pix to share with you, Marian! Wish we could be there to give them a great big birthday hug and kiss! xoxox

Happy Birthday to Su Lin, Zhen Zhen, and YaYa! Three special ladies! I've seen YaYa; she's a beautiful little panda lady. It was absolutely awesome; she was eating bamboo right up against the glass enclosure. I watched her for what seemed like hours! They're magnificent!

Happy Birthday to Su Lin and Zhen Zhen. I watched ZZ with her cake on the camera for a while. It looked like she was having a blast and boy! is she getting to be a big girl. I didn't get to watch Su Lin with hers'. I hope she had fun with her cake also.

Thank you to all the zoo staff for providing us with such entertainment. Hoping the new baby comes soon!

Lisa, how luck you are being able to visit the SDZ at any time. We slaves to the web cams are envious of your convenience! :) I was able to watch some of the festivities today on cam, but had to leave to run errands and (yuck) pay some bills. I have found that I have to log out of my home page, load google and can watch the cams on full screen mode. I am so getting a new home page (and a new pc with more memory). What I have now is so limiting. But I'm just grateful to be able to watch any/all of the zoo cams. I was also watching Bai Yun a while ago, and she is so, so uncomfortable. My heart goes out to her.

The talk of Tai Shan, Mei Lan and Su Lin leaving for China got me all choked up, as I was reading today's posts. I don't know how I'll 'bear' all three of them leaving almost at the same time. Everyone knows Tai is my first baby, but now I love them all equally.

Congratulation to the cake makers. The ice cakes are/were totally beautiful...looked good enough to eat. :)

Back to Bai. Wish I could rub her back or something.
