Can you suggest a good time to see Isa? I know with animals you have to judge their mood and don't have a set schedule, but we'd LOVE to see him!
Also how are the 2 youngsters in cat canyon doing? The last couple times we were there it must have been nap time & we didn't see them or momma (Nona?).

Heidi responds: The fossa is taken out by different trainers daily, and they choose the time to take him out. As for the fossas along the Kiwi Trail, they are still on exhibit and doing fine. They must have been sleeping while you were there. The youngster are currently about one year old.

Great job Heidi. Best wishes to Isa and his keepers for his continued healthy development and his "work" as an animal ambassador. With all the hills at SDZ, running with him will keep everyone in shape.

I, too, hope for a picture of Isa someday soon. He must be striking, as his species has arresting eyes. :)

It sounds like Isa will be keeping you on your toes and busy! Thanks for sharing more about him.

How about a picture of Isa?

Moderator's note: We don't have a recent photo of him yet...
