Dear Moderator Note Writer,

Bah humbug. Over simplifying and encouraging game users to repeat the tutorial is not a practical solution. That's for sure. I recall being stuck in the ice age for over a week! When I went to a friend's house and used her high speed internet connection, I completed the entire game in 15 minutes total. So it's not about reviewing the game plan. It's about internet speed. Please advise the Web Team that creating a game version for DSL users would be the better way to go about it allowing everyone a chance to participate in the Elephant Odyssey Game from beginning to end. Not just the elite. Young people and the young-at-heart everywhere will thank you.

I am virtually stuck in the 2nd level during the ice age period. I've tried everything... Any clues to help get to the next level? What am I to do when humans and large cat preditors turn yellow? It's unclear. How do I cross the bridge near the humans that has 5 blocks of ice? I can't seem to get over it. The four blocks of ice are no problem. Help me please! I'm stuck in the ice!!! This is too hard!

Moderator's note: You need to hold down the space bar to scare predators away. We encourage you to take the tutorial over in the beginning of the game.

the elephant odyssey game is really fun and addicting but it won't let us continue to level 3. after level 2 is beat, it says its going to continue as an asian elephant because the mammoth is now extinct. however, instead of opening up to a new level, it goes right back where the last level ended. just thought i'd let you guys know of the glitch in the interest of improving the play. i'm with firefox on an intel mac os 10.5.7. same thing happens on safari. great design of the game though - - the look is very creative!

Oops sorry, the elephant's names should read - the bull Ranchipur and females Cookie, Mary and Cha Cha. The three elephant's mentioned in the above blog are moving within the San Dieg Zoo to the Elephant Odyssey Exhibit.

Everyone - To get up-to-date information about the elephants that were moved from the Wild Animal Park to the San Diego Zoo Elephant Odyssey Exhibit, just goggle nbcsandiego(dot)com, click on News, then search - san diego zoo elephant odyssey. There you will find three informative sites: - “Packing Their Trunks and Moving to New Digs”, “Elephant Move Could Be Quite the Exhibition” and “Pachyderms Pack Up”. The “Packing Their Trunks” article includes a short video showing the trucks transporting the three elephants (in separate containers). The video was shown on all our local channels on Saturday. The trip took four hours. The normal drive time is approximately one hour. They had to take it slow using back roads. The elephant convoy had a police escort for the safety of the elephants and the passing traffic.

I wish Devi, Tembo, and Sumithi good luck in their new spacious environment.

Hi~ I was wondering why the camera can be on the same thing day after day, if it is truly a live camera. All I've seen for several days is a log in the middle of open space. Also, why no up close shots and updates on the new baby elephant?

Moderator's note: Elephant Cam is controlled by the elephant keepers, who have been extra busy these past few days. They promise to provide a calf update soon.
