Yes, the terrain of Sierra San Pedro de Martír National Park is mountainous and it gets very cold there in the winter, with overnight freezing temperatures and snow!  Condors are remarkably tolerant of extreme weather, it seems.</description>

		<description>Looks like the condors here will get another taste of wet and windy weather this week. How are the condors in Baja doing?  I seem to remember reading that the Baja release site is pretty high in the mountains and they get snow there.</description>
