laura thanks for the up-date on the rhino brothers. they sound like a couple of charactors! the head banging is quite funny even though it is a normal thing for them to do! you would think they would have a giant head-ache……………! I guess rhinos even develope a close relationship with others. I know that a mother rhino is extremely protective and can be very dangerous where her baby is concerned. maybe brothers can be close too if brought up together! interesting I must say!!! thanks for letting us know what’s happening with these two brothers and how the training goes in he future. bye!

Barbara, if you look at the pictures you can see Surat is a bit smaller than Soman. Maybe about 500-1,000 lbs. smaller! Both of them still have alot of growing to do. They will reach a maximum of almost 6,000 lbs. when full grown. That won’t be until they are about 10 years old. These boys have a lot of growing and learning to do, and I am happy to teach them.

I am not able to tell from the pictures, but is the younger brother smaller? Is he still growing? It would be fun to see a picture that shows them side by side, if that is possible. It’s so nice that they now have each other for company.
