California Condors to Find New Home in Santa Barbara
Posted at 1:23 pm July 31, 2008 by Yadira GalindoThe Santa Barbara Zoo will become only the second United States zoo where the public can view the critically endangered California condor on exhibit. Santa Barbara will join the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park which has been exhibiting the California condor since the year 2000.

It’s exciting to hear that there is another CA condor habitat. BTW, will SDZ have its own YouTube videos? (Only a thought…) I just noticed that this seems to be the first time a video is posted using outside source.

Great! I’m SO happy for them!! I absolutely just adore condors, & I’m glad to hear they’ll have a nice, safe, new habitat!!!

I am happy to see and hear that there will be more public education about the California condor. I have seen the condors flying free that the Ventana Wildlife Society has released in Big Sur. They are just awesome. Perhaps one day they will be off the endangered list. Thank you for your good work.
