Bill, great to hear that all your study group is healthy and there is alot of little ones. on a sad note the little albino is blind and from what i heard the nose and eyes were not the normal color. Are koala eyes usually yellow?, but be assured that this littleone will beloved and well taken care of.

Hi Barbara,
I don't know a lot about albino animals, but we are interested in the variations in pigment some koalas have on their noses. Fortunately the koalas in my study area all seem to be quite healthy - we have plenty of young koalas this year.
Regards,
Bill

Bill, great to hear about the Koalas they are such unique creatures. Today I read a piece on CNN that they found a white koala in Australia and it was a in bad shape an they nursed it back to health, what a beautiful animal. Hope that all your collars return all the infor that you have been hoping for. Any info about these animals is worth waiting for, hope to hear more soon.Oh a question please Does being albino affect the koalas vision because it seems to show a little pink around the eyes. thanks and keep up the great work.
