It sounds like he suddenly " disappeared" although he may have been in separate bedroom for a while to wean him from his mother's influence. He sounds like one very happy guy who likes female company, whomever they are. Hopefully his introduction to Chantek will go as smoothly and his " harem" will double immediately.
