		<description>Just to clarify, one will not find Aloe ferox (pictured) at the main Aloe collection site across from the Veldt as mentioned.  However, nearby, at the south side of the Veldt itself is where you will find a few nice specimens of them.</description>

		<description>Thanks for a most interesting blog, Mike.  I knew there were many aloe varieties, but didn&#039;t realize our zoo has so many.  On my many walks through the Horn and Hoof Mesa, I often hear visitors gasping in awe over these spectacular plants.  And having lived through midwestern and eastern winters, I know how amazing it is to see such beauty at this time of year.</description>
