A young Tasmanian devil paused to take a short break from digging around his new exhibit this morning at the San Diego Zoo. Three-year-old Nick is one of four Tasmanian devils who were unveiled this morning following an opening ceremony attended by Zoo officials and Australian dignitaries.

Keepers have added extra plant matter for the devils to hide in, extra mulch to dig around in and a tucked-away den to rest in. The Tasmanian devil exhibit is inside the recently opened Conrad Prebys Australian Outback and is now open to guests.
